Project description:
We are looking for a motivated and creative researcher to develop an automated system for analyzing depressive-like and addictive behaviors in mice. This position offers the opportunity to combine neuroscience, behavioral analysis, and technology development in a collaborative and cutting-edge research environment.
You will work within the Knapska Lab, internationally recognized for its studies of social and emotional brain circuitry and high-throughput behavioral assessment using the Eco-HAB system (Puścian et al., eLife 2016; Mol. Psychiatry 2022; Winiarski et al., Sci. Advances 2025). The project focuses on motivated behaviors in mouse models of depression, and drug and alcohol addiction, with strong translational relevance to human mental health.
This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher eager to innovate, collaborate, and make a tangible impact in understanding the neurobiology of emotion and motivation.
