We have an opportunity for a motivated Research Assistant/Technician with expertise in in vivo animal models, to join our expanding team based at our new Polish facility at University of Warmia & Mazury in Olsztyn.


This lab-based role will be to support development and execute relevant disease in vivo models to generate robust pharmacological and disease relevant biological data for preclinical research studies for our client biotech or pharma companies.



University of Warmia & Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland




  • Providing technical support to ongoing in vivo preclinical studies
  • Organising and maintaining laboratory materials and equipment
  • Generating and maintaining clear experimental records
  • Be an effective, collaborative hands-on member of the in vivo team, contributing to the overall work of the team as required
  • Ensuring appropriate use of animals in compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Using best judgment to carry out work to the highest standard






  • BSc/MSc in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Biology or a related discipline
  • Laboratory/research experience
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • PoILASA animal licence, experience with the ethical applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently and proactively
  • Highly motivated and ability to be flexible in case of changing priorities



  • In vivo pharmacology experience would be an advantage
  • Behavioural experience
  • Surgical experience
