Our Client is an Israeli food tech startup developing cultivated seafood. The idea for the product is to create healthier, cleaner, more sustainable, lower-in-price, and full-bodied food for human consumption. Now, the time has come for an R&D phase, so the development has been taking place in Israel and the research phase is going to happen in Poland! The research phase involves processes such as building the cell line, creating a growth media, and expanding the team with food technologists and additional equipment. Your role is:
-> Leading development processes of big significance to the global cultivated seafood industry
-> Working directly with the CTO as a tech expert, making important decisions that will impact future operations
-> Developing and analyzing textures, flavors, and aromas, leading and executing experiments in the production process
Your skills and experiences:
-> 3+ years of experience in product development for the food industry
-> Experience with protein processing processes and technological development from the world of food substitutes
-> Experience with 3D printing and in flavor and aroma development
-> MSc/Ph.D. in food science or food engineering
-> Advanced English
