PhD in cognitive neuroscience or other related fields (psychology, neuroscience, or a related field including, computer science, applied mathematics, biology, etc.) obtained up to 5 years before application


Professional experience/ skills/ competences:

  • strong knowledge and research experience in neuroimaging techniques,
    publications in highly ranked journals in the field of cognitive neuroscience
  • previous experience in MRI imaging, structural MRI and quantitative MRI (qMRI) multi-parameter mapping methods would be beneficial, but is not necessary
  • programming skills (Python/R/Matlab/)
  • applicants should be able to demonstrate a consistently excellent academic record, including publications in high quality international journals.


Scope of tasks:

The primary duties of the postdoctoral researcher will be the development and application of pipelines for sMRI/fMRI data acquired in a longitudinal design. Within this broader scope, there is plenty of room for personal research interests. The selected candidate will also assist in the supervision of junior (MSc and PhD) researchers and work in a highly motivated inter-disciplinary team with a top-level infrastructure, contributing towards the general aims of the project.

  • salary financed from the National Science Center funds in the gross gross amount per month of 10k for 3 years.
