Our Client is an Israeli food tech startup developing cultivated seafood. The idea for the product is to create healthier, cleaner, more sustainable, lower-in-price, and full-bodied food for human consumption.
Now, the time has come for an R&D phase, so the development has been taking place in Israel (+10 people) and the research phase is going to happen in Poland! The research phase involves processes such as building the cell line, creating a growth media, and expanding the team with food technologists and additional equipment.

Your role is:
-> Leading development processes of huge significance to the global cultured meat industry
-> Working directly with the CEO as a tech and business expert, proposing new directions for the future operations
-> Establishing the vision, strategy, growth plan, and overseeing technology aspects of the project
-> Setting up the development strategy, managing a project’s budget, and making investments to align the company’s plan with technological needs
-> Managing the company’s development team, leading development processes
-> Identifying food tech trends and developing new ideas for future products
-> Managing the laboratory and its development
Your skills and experiences:
-> FoodTech professional with expertise in technological development in the cultivated meat industry
-> 10+ years of experience with organizational management, demonstrating a record of tech innovation, product design, development, and market implementation
-> 3+ years of experience in managing and leading tech teams
-> Hands-on experience with protein processing processes (advantage)
-> Familiarity with technological developments from the meat substitutes industry
-> MSc/Ph.D. in food science or food engineering
-> Advanced English
